Bee stings can be dangerous

According to experts, insect bites can be fatal. This problem is common. Many such cases have been reported. However, it is rare. This condition is called anaphylaxis. This situation is considered a medical emergency. Anaphylaxis is a severe allergic reaction. Bee stings contain poison, which can cause a very severe allergic reaction in some people. When a bee stings inside the mouth or throat, a severe allergic reaction can start throughout the body and blood pressure drops rapidly. Due to severe allergic reaction, heart rate may stop and the risk of cardiac arrest may increase.

Heart stops working

If a fly, mosquito or any other insect enters the windpipe, it can be a dangerous situation. Breathing can stop. Due to swelling in the airway, the flow of air stops, this condition is considered hypoxia i.e. lack of oxygen. Heart beat can stop due to lack of oxygen reaching the brain and heart.

What to do if an insect enters your mouth?

  • Do not panic: If a worm has entered your mouth, do not panic. Panic can cause breathing to become faster, which can cause the worm to enter the windpipe. In such a case, there can be a risk of suffocation.
  • Try to take it out: Try to take the worm out by spitting. You will get relief as soon as the worm comes out.
  • Gargle: If the worm is felt near the throat, then gargle with lukewarm water. This may help in flushing out the worm.
  • Try coughing: If it feels like something is stuck in your throat, try coughing hard. This can help the worm come out of your mouth.
  • Go to the doctor: If you feel stinging in the throat, swelling or have trouble breathing, you should immediately go to the doctor. Negligence in this can make the situation dangerous.
