  • Trim the roots slightly and remove any yellow or damaged leaves.
  • Place the bunch upright in a glass or jar with 1–2 inches of clean water (like a flower bouquet).
  • Cover loosely with a paper towel or cloth to retain moisture and avoid direct sunlight.
  • Change the water every day to keep it clean and fresh.

Result: Coriander stays fresh for 3–5 days at room temperature.

2. Wrap in Damp Cloth or Paper Towel

  • Wash the coriander gently and let it air dry or pat dry.
  • Wrap the leaves in a slightly damp cotton cloth or kitchen paper towel.
  • Store in a cool, shaded spot inside a container or perforated box.

Result: Keeps the coriander fresh for 2–4 days.

3. Use a Clay or Earthen Pot

  • Fill an earthen pot with a bit of water and place the coriander bunch inside.
  • Cover the mouth with a lid or a breathable cloth.
