Digilocker’s utility

Many activities require the required documents. For example, if you want to drive, it is mandatory for you to have a driving license and other vehicle documents. If you drive without documents under the Motor Vehicles Act, you may face challan. Many times people keep their driving license and other important documents, but forget to take them along during the journey. In such a situation, despite being a document, they have to face trouble. But now the government has made a new arrangement. If you do not have documents, but they are safe in Digilocker, they will still be considered valid.

The question arises in the minds of many people whether the challan can be done even if there is a document in Digilocker. Let’s know the answer.

The Digilocker Service was launched in 2015 by the Government of India. It is a cloud -based service in which you can protect your documents. Through this you do not need to carry physical documents. Documents placed in Digeelocker are government recognition. If you forget to carry your driving license or other important documents during the trip, but all those documents are present in the dijilocker, the traffic police cannot cut your challan. If the police still challan, you can demand action against the officer concerned.

Anyone can use the Digilocker service issued by the government. It can be downloaded from Google Play Store or App Store, or you can create a new account by visiting its official website. For this you will need a mobile number, email ID and Aadhaar card number. Next, you can digitally upload various certificates such as your car, driving license and school marksheet, which you can show anywhere when needed.

To upload your documents to Digilacker, you have to open a dizlocker. Then click on the ‘My Certificate’ option, select your document and enter the necessary information. Next, your certificate will come to Digilocker online. You can save files like JPG, JPEG, BMP, PNG and PDF in Digilocker. Note that you have storage up to 1GB of storage in Digilocker.
