The registration process for the Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) 2025 has started. Candidates can apply till July 1 to appear in the exam. The application process starts from June 2. Application has to be done in online mode by visiting the official website of the Air Force, afcat.cdac.in. Through this exam, recruitment will be done for flying and ground duty (technical and non-technical) posts in the Indian Air Force.

The AFCAT exam is conducted twice a year by the Air Force. Both male and female candidates can apply for this. Applications have been invited for recruitment to a total of 248 posts. AFCAT 2025 Eligibility Criteria: What should be the eligibility to apply?

Candidates applying for the Flying branch should have passed 12th from the Physics and Maths stream with 50% marks. Also, there should be a BE or BTech degree with 60% marks. At the same time, for the Ground Duty (Technical) branch, the candidate should have passed 12th from the Physics and Maths stream with 60% marks and should have a UG or PG degree in Aeronautical Engineering (Electronics). AFCAT 2025 Age Limit: What should be the age?

For the Flying branch, the age of the applicant should be between 20 years to 24 years. The maximum age limit is relaxed up to 26 years for candidates holding a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA. At the same time, for the Ground Duty (Technical/Non-Technical) branch, the age of the candidate should be 20 to 26 years. According to the notification issued, candidates below 25 years of age should be unmarried at the time of commencement of the course.

AFCAT 2025 Selection Process: How will the selection be done?

The selection will be done in two phases. In the first phase, the Officer Intelligence Rating Test and Picture Perception and Discussion Test will be conducted. The successful candidates will participate in the second phase process. In the second phase, written psychological tests and interviews etc. will be conducted.
