In his statement, Ethan Raines expressed, “As many of you know, she was on the autism spectrum, and while that made her life very challenging, it enabled her to hyperfocus on one thing, and that one thing was clearly animals. From a young age, she devoted every waking moment of her life to helping them, whether it was assisting a snapping turtle across the road or rescuing 500 foxes from a horrific fur farm. She was never motivated by fame, money, or personal benefit. She was genuinely one of the most selfless individuals I have ever known.”
