Are you facing problems in checking your Employees Provident Fund (EPF) balance on the EPF passbook website? The portal has gone down once again. In such a situation, if you are worried about checking the balance, then do not worry, the Employees Provident Fund Organization (EPFO) has given easy options for this. Such as missed call service and SMS service, so that you can check your PF balance immediately without internet access or technical problems.

Why are you unable to log in to the EPF website:

You can check your Provident Fund (PF) balance by visiting the EPF passbook portal (passbook.epfindia.gov.in). However, sometimes users face difficulty in accessing it. There is a problem in logging in due to overload due to high traffic on the server, scheduled maintenance or technical upgrades, and login errors such as using the wrong Universal Account Number (UAN), password, or unregistered mobile number. Currently, the EPFO website is down, due to which users are not able to log in.

How to check PF balance through missed call service?

You can also check PF balance through EPFO's missed call service. This is a free method. Here's how:

1. Call 9966044425 from your registered mobile number

2. The call will automatically disconnect after two rings (no charges).

3. You will get the details of your latest PF balance and last deposit amount through an SMS.

Note: This service is available only for UAN-active members whose KYC has been completed. If you face any problem, you can check your KYC status through your employer or EPFO portal.
