Black Sabbath may have had their final gig back in 2017, but Ozzy Osbourne always wanted one more with original drummer Bill Ward.
Next week, the rock legends finally reunite with Geezer Butler and Tony Iommi for one final show.
Taking place in their native Birmingham on Saturday July 5, Back to the Beginning also marks Ozzy's last gig before retirement after years of health issues.
The godfathers of heavy metal will be supported by bands they inspired from Metallica and Slayer to Halestorm and Lamb of God.
And now Black Sabbath have shared a behind-the-scenes picture of Ward back with Sabbath for the first time in 13 years.
Posted on Black Sabbath's Instagram page, the photo is captioned: "Rehearsals are underway for Back To The Beginning: Ozzy's Final Bow." Depicted is Geezer, Bill and Ozzy holding his cane and smiling while they sit on a sofa. Notably absent is guitarist Tony, but no doubt he's around. Maybe he even took the photo?
Back to the Beginning is sold out but fans can watch the show on a global livesteam here.
