On the tense Day 5 of India vs England's first Test at Headingley,Leeds, a light moment involving India captain Shubman Gill occurred which relieved fans and players from anxiety.

When Mohammed Siraj and Prasidh Krishna were bowling together from the opposite ends in the opening session of Day 5, Shubman Gill was heard on the stump mic saying, "Ek taraf se Mohammed hai, ek taraf se Krishna hai, dono dabav daal rahe h. (From one end there is Mohammed (Siraj), and from another there is (Prasidh) Krishna. Both are creating pressure.)"

This light-hearted remark was heard during the 17th over which was bowled by Prasidh Krishna. As soon as Gill said this, Rishabh Pant was caught smiling.

The remark immediately generated buzz and became viral on social media handle X (formerly Twitter). It was a witty combination of humor and insight, displaying Gill's easy-going nature in the face of immense pressure.

India was struggling to breach England's resistance. Both the English openers - Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley - were going hard on the Indian bowlers. However, the duo of Siraj and Krishna bowled tight lengths to restrict the easy flow of runs.

Although India did not pick a wicket so far, Mohammed Siraj, Prasidh Krishna and Shardul Thakur have assisted Bumrah pretty well.
