Actor Rajkummar Rao has finally confirmed that he will portray former Indian cricket captain Sourav Ganguly in his biopic . The actor stated that he is nervous about playing the role and considers it a huge responsibility.

In a recent interview with NDTV, Rajkummar acknowledged his involvement in the project for the first time. Ganguly had previously spoken about the film’s casting and had hinted at this development months ago. “I am nervous... It's a huge responsibility, but it's going to be a lot of fun,” he shared.

Ganguly has already said that the makers have chosen the right person for the role and that he will assist the actor in ensuring the film stays true to the real story.
