OPSC VAS Recruitment: Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced the online application process for recruitment to the posts of Veterinary Assistant Surgeon and Additional Veterinary Assistant Surgeon. Interested candidates can apply between July 1 and July 31, 2025.

According to the commission, the written examination can be conducted tentatively on August 31, 2025. A total of 506 posts will be selected through this recruitment. All these posts come under Group 'A' (Junior Branch-II) of Odisha Veterinary Service and will be filled permanently in the Department of Fisheries and Animal Resources Development. Out of these, 167 posts have been reserved for female candidates.

To participate in this recruitment process, the candidate must have a bachelor's degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry or equivalent qualification from a recognized university in India or abroad.
