Actress Esha Gupta has finally opened up about her long-rumoured relationship with Indian cricketer Hardik Pandya. In a recent interview with Siddharth Kannan, the Raaz 3 star clarified that while there was a brief connection, it never evolved into a full-fledged romance.

“It Wasn’t Dating-Dating”
Esha explained that she and Hardik were in touch for a few months, during which they explored the possibility of a relationship. “Yeah, for some time we were talking. I don’t think we were dating, but yeah, we were talking for a couple of months. We were at that ‘maybe it will happen, maybe it won’t’ stage,” she said. Ultimately, they met just once or twice before things naturally fizzled out. “It ended before we even reached the dating stage,” she added.

No Drama, Just Mismatched Timing

On Hardik’s Koffee With Karan Controversy
Esha also addressed Hardik Pandya’s controversial appearance on Koffee With Karan in 2019. She clarified that his remarks didn’t impact her, as they had already stopped talking by then. “That part didn’t affect me,” she noted.

Though Esha publicly criticised the episode’s misogynistic tone, she now says she avoided adding to the backlash. “They were already going through enough,” she said.

Focus on Private, Grounded Relationships
Esha revealed she prefers meaningful, low-key relationships, something that perhaps clashed with Hardik’s high-profile lifestyle.

The actress was last seen in Ek Badnaam Aashram 3 Part 2 and is rumoured to join Hera Pheri 3, though no official announcement has been made yet.
