Read transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà reports that negotiations between Napoli and Liverpool for Darwin Nunez are ongoing, with the Partenopei working to close an €8m gap between their proposal and the Reds’ demands.

Napoli remain in talks with Liverpool for Nunez, who has prioritised a move to the Stadio Maradona, as Read reported earlier this week.

As we already reported on Read, Napoli are ready to invest circa €42m to sign the 26-year-old striker, but Liverpool’s asking price is €8m more, including add-ons.
