Application Deadline Extended for CSIR-UGC NET 2025

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced an extension for the application submission deadline for the Joint Council of Scientific and Industrial Research – UGC National Eligibility Test (CSIR-UGC NET) 2025. The examination is scheduled for July 26, 27, and 28.


According to the official announcement, candidates can submit their applications until June 26 at 11:59 PM, with the exam fee payment deadline set for June 27 at 11:59 PM.


Additionally, applicants will have the chance to correct their online application details from June 28 to June 29, also until 11:59 PM.


Candidates are advised to visit the official website to verify their details during the correction period and make any necessary adjustments to their applications.


Eligibility Criteria for CSIR NET June 2025

Individuals wishing to take the CSIR UGC NET June 2025 exam must meet the eligibility requirements outlined in the official notification. This includes holding a qualifying degree as specified in the CSIR UGC NET 2025 guidelines.


Furthermore, applicants must adhere to the age limits set for Junior Research Fellowship and Assistant Professor positions.


Steps to Apply for UGC CSIR-NET June 2025

3. A new window will appear.


4. Register using your email address and mobile number.


5. Complete the application form with the required information.

Exam Format and Language

The examination will be conducted in a Computer Based Test (CBT) format lasting 180 minutes (3 hours).


The question papers will consist of objective type questions (MCQs) and will be available in both English and Hindi.


There are five test papers: 1. Chemical Sciences 2. Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean and Planetary Sciences 3. Life Sciences 4. Mathematical Sciences 5. Physical Sciences.
