Actor Martin Kove , who plays Cobra Kai , has apologized to his co-star Alicia Hannah-Kim in a statement and accepted full responsibility for biting her arm at a fan convention last weekend.

The statement continued, "I was being playful in the moment but went too far, and there is absolutely no excuse for my behavior." The statement went on to say, "I regret my actions, for which I take full responsibility for what I did, and again I apologize to her and her husband. I’m committed to learning from this, and it will never happen again.”

According to Deadline, a police report mentioned that Martin allegedly bit her arm, and he screamed in pain.
According to the report, Alicia told an officer placed in the VIP area of the event that Martin suddenly grabbed her arm and bit her "so hard he nearly drew blood" after she tapped him on the shoulder to greet him. Alicia "wished to have a report filed in case this continues," but she did not want to file charges.
Martin portrayed John Kreese, the primary antagonist of the 1984 original Karate Kid. In the Cobra Kai spinoff series and two sequels, he played the same roles again.
