A spiritual sequel with a heart
‘Si taare Zameen Par ’ is described as the spiritual sequel to Aamir Khan’s 2007 film ‘Taare Zameen Par’. In this new film, Aamir plays a basketball coach who is caught for a DUI and is ordered by the court to teach the game to a group of neurodivergent individuals. Just like the earlier film, this one too carries a message of empathy and acceptance.

A special screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan

One of the most special moments for the film so far was its screening at Rashtrapati Bhavan. President Droupadi Murmu herself attended the event, making it a proud day for the cast and crew.
The makers shared this news on social media along with photos, writing, “The Hon’ble President of India watched Sitaare Zameen Par at Rashtrapati Bhavan, and we are deeply grateful for the warmth and generosity extended by her, her family, and her staff. Everyone involved with the film was welcomed and cared for with such genuine kindness and affection.”
They added,“We are truly humbled and overjoyed by how much the President appreciated the film. From all of us on Team #SitaareZameenPar – thank you, ma’am. This will always remain one of our most cherished memories.”
