The NSP functions under the National e-Governance Plan (NeGP) and provides for Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) so that scholarship amounts are credited directly into the bank accounts of the students. The portal makes the whole scholarship process easy for students, enabling them to search, apply, and track several scholarships under a single umbrella.

Eligibility Criteria

To be considered for the NSP Scholarship 2025, one must qualify. The income of the applicant's household cannot be more than ₹2,50,000 annually, although this may differ under a particular scholarship scheme. The student should have cleared the final qualifying exam. In case it applies, one should have a valid caste certificate. An Aadhaar card is also needed for verification.

To submit an application for the NSP Scholarship 2025, applicants should upload necessary documents like a government ID proof (Aadhaar or PAN card), an income certificate, a caste certificate (in case required), bank account details, and educational certificates of the last qualifying examination.

Pre-Matric Scholarships – For students studying in Classes 1 to 10.

Post-Matric Scholarships – For students seeking studies after Class 10.

Central Sector Scholarships – For undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctorate level students.

State-Specific Scholarships – Provided by individual state governments.
