These include rules related to PAN cards, Aadhaar, credit cards, and railway ticket booking. Aadhaar required for PAN Card-

Aadhaar card will be mandatory for making PAN cards from July 1, 2025. The Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT) will implement this rule. With this change, it will be necessary to link PAN and Aadhaar to avoid possible problems in transactions.

Charge on ATM withdrawal-

If you are a customer of ICICI Bank and withdraw money from an ATM, then you will have to pay a charge. However, a charge of Rs 23 will be levied on financial transactions from the ATM of another bank. A charge of Rs 8.5 will be levied on non-financial transactions.

New rule for Tatkal ticket booking-

According to the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC), OTP authentication is necessary for booking Tatkal tickets. OTP will be required for ticket booking from IRCTC's official website or mobile app, which will be received on the linked phone number.

HDFC Bank's credit card rules-

Credit card rules will be changed by HDFC Bank. If the credit card holder spends up to Rs 10000 on gaming apps every month, then a separate 1 percent charge will be levied on it. Similarly, a 1 percent charge will be levied on credit card payments through third-party apps - Paytm, Freecharge, etc.

Extra charge on utility bills-
If you use an HDFC credit card, then from July 1, extra fees will have to be paid for utility bill payments. 1 percent charge will be levied on utility bills of Rs 50000 every month. This rule will also apply to fuel transactions. A 1 percent charge will be levied on fuel transactions of Rs 15,000.
