Reliance Industries is serving food for millions of devotees who are engaged in the Jagannath Rath Yatra to be held in Puri, the holy city of Odisha. Hot, nutritious food is being served to millions of devotees and police personnel at six major places of Reliance Foundation Yatra Marg to ensure that no one is hungry in the yatra. Let us tell you that the grain service program of Reliance Foundation is considered to be the world’s largest food service program. The company is engaged in widespread arrangements for service, security and assistance of devotees.

In this thirteen -day grand Rath Yatra, lakhs of devotees reach Puri from every corner of the country. In such a situation, stopping mob management and stampede is a big challenge. Reliance, local administration, municipality and police officers will set up a clear guidelines, so that devotees can come safe from one place to another. More than 4,000 trained volunteers will be deployed for mob management. 100 police assistance posts or booths are being set up for police personnel on duty. With the help of which devotees will be able to provide fast help.

Speaking on various service works being started by Reliance by Reliance, Anant M Ambani, Executive Director of Reliance Industries Limited, said, “Service work, Reliance’s ‘We Care’ is deeply connected to the darshan. The opportunity to serve the devotees in Puri is really a blessing. We believe that we believe that the service of pilgrims and workers during the chariot journey is a blessing. The smallest facility of passengers is also being taken care of. More than 1.5 lakh hand fans are being distributed to the pilgrims to relieve heat. In order to do their work properly, 3,500 raincoats have also been distributed among the police employees. Volunteers, municipal employees and police personnel will be provided refreshments on time.
