Australia will be hosting India for an extensive white ball series in 2025 Nover, of which the T20 match scheduled in Canberra and the ODI one in Sydney have been fully booked within just two weeks of the tickets being released. Executive General Manager Events & Operations at Cricket Australia, Koel Morrison, informed that all the tickets have been exhausted, indicating the craze among the fans. Morrison said,
“Exhausting our public ticket allocation for the SCG ODI and Manuka Oval T20I four months before the series is a testament to the tremendous interest in the upcoming season amongst cricket fans."
Notably, Cricket Australia informed, among the ticket buyers, Indian fan clubs bought 16 percent of the allotted tickets. And this has created a record for a single buyer to buy the most amount of tickets in a single match.

India Tours Help Cricket Australia
Cricket Australia CEO Todd Greenberg has acknowledged India's significant role in improving CA’s financial position after taking a loan of A\$300 million from the Commonwealth Bank during the COVID-19 pandemic. Greenberg pointed out that the 2021 India tour generated A\$31.9 million, easing their deficit. The 2024–25 series further strengthened the board’s finances.
Earlier this month, Greenberg emphasized the financial impact of India’s involvement. He said,
“The Indian series in 2021 helped the Australian board. And in October last year, they announced a deficit of A\$31.9 million (\$21.34m). The last 2024–25 series against India in Australia further boosted the finances of the CA.”
He further stressed the need to diversify participation in the sport across Australia. While reiterating that inclusivity remains one of his top priorities moving forward, Greenberg mentioned,
“We need to think differently. We need to communicate differently, and we need to make sure that the clubs and our environments are both safe and welcoming and inclusive.”
