The injury news comes amidst a reported rift involving their eldest son Brooklyn Beckham and his wife Nicola Peltz. The 26 year old Brooklyn and 30 year old Nicola have been at the centre of media speculation regarding a 'feud' with his family, including David, aged 50, and Victoria, 51. Brooklyn recently took to social media to declare his affection for Nicola,as he added a caption reading "my" followed by a globe emoji. He further adorned the post with a heart emoji, calling her "My absolute angel."

Later, Brooklyn acknowledged his grandmother Sandra's birthday on his Instagram, sharing a heartfelt message alongside a picture with her, saying: "Happy birthday nanny xx love you so much.", reports the Mirror.

This gesture is believed to be his first public outreach to his family amid the ongoing tensions.

David, too, paid tribute to his mother on her special day with an affectionate Instagram post, subtly acknowledging Brooklyn amidst the recent social media exchanges without succumbing to any negativity.
