Joint Seat Allocation Authority i.e. JoSAA has also released the seat allotment result for the second round. Candidates who participated in the second round of counseling can now check their results by visiting the official website of JoSAA, josaa.nic.in. To see the result, they will have to enter their JEE Main or JEE Advanced login details.

Students selected in the second round of the counseling seat allocation process will have to complete the online reporting process by June 29. To accept their seat, they will have to pay the required fee and upload scanned copies of documents.

How to check the Round 2 seat allocation result?

First of all go to the official website of JoSAA counseling, josaa.nic.in.

Then click on Round 2 Seat Allotment Result.

After that enter your login credentials to sign in.

Now the allotment letter and seat allocation result for the final round will appear on the screen.

How many BTech seats this year?
JoSAA counseling is conducted for admission to BTech courses in top government technical institutes of India, which include Indian Institutes of Technology i.e. IITs, National Institutes of Technology i.e. NITs, Indian Institutes of Information Technology (IITs) and other government-funded technical institutes (other-GFTIs) across the country. This year JoSAA is conducting counselling for a total of 62,853 BTech seats.

Counseling will be done in a total of 6 rounds.
There will be four more rounds in the counseling process. The third round seat allotment result will be declared on July 2, while the fourth-round merit list will be released on July 6, the fifth-round merit list on July 11 and the sixth-round list on July 16.
