GPSC Recruitment 2025: Gujarat Public Service Commission (GPSC) has issued Advertisement No. GPSC/202526/10 for online recruitment for the post of Assistant Engineer (Electrical), Class-2 in the Road and Building Department. The drive will fill 139 posts, and aspiring candidates can apply on gpsc.gujarat.gov.in up to July 9, 2025.

The recruitment shall consist of a Preliminary Examination on October 5, 2025, and an interview round for shortlisted candidates.

GPSC Recruitment 2025: Pay Scale

The post belongs to the Class-2 category with a pay scale of Rs. 44,900 to Rs. 1,42,400 (Pay Level 8) and a probationary period of 2 years.

GPSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. The applicants should possess a Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical) or Technology (Electrical) from a university or institution recognized under the Central or State Act or recognized by the UGC.

2. Knowledge of basic computer applications as per Gujarat Civil Services Rules, 1967.

3. Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.

4. The candidates should be between 20 and 35 years of age on the closing date of application. The relaxation of age will be given to reserved category candidates according to government norms.
