Noel Edmonds' Kiwi Adventures is back on ITV on June 27, with the former Deal or No Deal star working hard to integrate himself with lift in Ngtmoti in New Zealand. The TV presenter permanently moved to New Zealand in 2018 with his wife Julie after his stint in I'm A Celebrity, and he is building a life for himself in the small Kiwi town.

The ITV show documents him running a restaurant, a pub, a vineyard, a wellness centre, a general store and a coffee shack after he bought River Haven, an 800 acre estate worth £14.5m. One of the main features of the estate, which takes up most of Ngtmoti, is The B*gger Inn pub, a small venue which has been compared to Jeremy Clarkson's The Farmer's Dog.

In the second episode, Noel is seen challenging Clarkson to a quiz over Zoom, as he told cameras how confident he was that he would "wipe" out Clarkson and his team at Diddly Squat.

But what is The Bugger Inn really like? Julie, who worked on Noel's vineyard alongside the star to help harvest his grapes, has been to the pub multiple times, and said it was not like the Farmer's Dog at all.

She told Express.co.uk: "It's not overly busy because it's relatively new, not a lot of people know about it.

"But it's a lovely location and if it's a sunny day, it's in the middle of nowhere, and it is really nice.

"It's tiny on the inside, it looks like a shed, but he's done a lot of work to it and now the restaurant is joined onto the pub so there's more space.

"But people mostly eat outside anyway, it's a great spot and the food is good. Whenever we have people to visit we go there, we always go when we can."

In comparison, Clarkson's pub has a bigger inside area, and also boasts an outdoor marquee. Rather than having a vineyard, Clarkson has his Hawkstone brewery.

When asked about the similarities between his pub and Clarkson's, Noel told The Sun: "When we were filming our show, some people who knew about Clarkson's Farm said to me, 'Oh, is it like Clarkson's Farm?'

"And I said, 'No, it couldn't be more different.' First of all, I'm not like Jeremy in many ways, though I wish I were. He's brilliant. He can articulate an argument beautifully and deliver a sharp, humorous line like no one else."
