Shefali Jariwala , the actress and model known for Bigg Boss and the hit 2002 song ' Kaanta Laga ', has sadly passed away at the age of 42. As per reports, she died of a cardiac arrest. Although she was rushed to the hospital, she was pronounced dead on arrival.
Videos from the hospital saw her husband, Parag Tyagi , looking distraut. He was later seen leaving the Bellevue Hospital in Mumbai late Friday night, struggling to hold back his tears after the doctors were unable to save the star.

Parag Tyagi is the husband of Shefali Jariwala. The couple got married in August 2014 and appeared together on several reality shows. Parag, who is 49 years old, was born in Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh, and is known for his work in both television and films.

Working in several daily soaps, Parag rose to fame and became a household name. Apart from shows, he has also appeared in films like 'A Wednesday'! (2008) 'Sarkar 3' (2017). He made his mark in Telugu cinema as well, with a role in the hit film 'Agnyaathavaasi' (2018) alongside superstar Pawan Kalyan .
News of Jariwala’s passing left fans and members of the film industry in a state of shock. Following the news of her sudden demise, actor Aly Goni, Tehseen Poonawalla, and singer Mika Singh paid tribute on social media. Several fellow friends and industry colleagues also expressed their shock and heartbreak over the tragic news. Singer Mika Singh penned a note that read, “I’m deeply shocked, saddened, and feeling a heavy heart… Our beloved star and my dearest friend @shefalijariwala has left us. Still can’t believe it. You will always be remembered for your grace, smile, and spirit. Om Shanti."
