As the entertainment industry mourns the untimely demise of actress Shefali Jariwala, many have turned their attention to her husband, Parag Tyagi, who has been visibly heartbroken in videos surfacing online. Known for his stoic yet supportive presence throughout Shefali’s public life, Parag has often remained low-key about his own journey, until now.

From Modinagar to the Silver Screen

Parag Tyagi, who hails from Modinagar, Uttar Pradesh, began his cinematic journey in 2008 with the highly acclaimed crime thriller 'A Wednesday!' alongside acting legends Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher. His breakthrough on television came a year later with 'Pavitra Rishta', where he played the role of Vinod Karanjkar.

Since then, his career has spanned across popular Indian TV shows including 'Brahmarakshas', 'Jodha Akbar', and' Shakti: Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki'. His strong screen presence and versatile acting earned him a place in the Telugu film industry as well, with roles in movies like 'Agnyaathavaasi', 'Venky Mama', 'Ruler', and 'Sarkaru Vaari Paata'.

Parag was last seen in the Salman Khan-starrer 'Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan' in 2023, playing the character Yogeshwar Kodati.

A Strong Relationship Built on Love and Resilience

Parag Tyagi married Shefali Jariwala in 2015 after dating her for four years. The couple first met during industry events and soon became inseparable. They showcased their deep bond on dance reality shows 'Nach Baliye' 5 and 'Nach Baliye' 7, where fans adored their chemistry and dedication.

This was Shefali’s second marriage. Her first, to Harmeet Singh of the Meet Bros musical duo, ended in 2009 following allegations of domestic violence and emotional neglect. In contrast, her relationship with Parag was filled with warmth, mutual respect, and support. One memorable gesture that caught fans’ attention was when Parag got a tattoo on Shefali’s 40th birthday — featuring her name, a beach, and her sun sign — as a token of his love.

A Grieving Husband After a Sudden Tragedy

On June 27, Parag rushed Shefali to Bellevue Multispeciality Hospital in Andheri after she suffered a cardiac arrest. Tragically, she was declared dead on arrival. Videos of Parag leaving the hospital in a distraught state have gone viral, as fans and celebrities alike share condolences and prayers.

Parag Tyagi, who once stood by Shefali as her partner in love and life, now carries her memory forward as a grieving husband, loved deeply by the very person he lost.
