As the entertainment industry and her fans continue to mourn the sudden and tragic demise of actress and Bigg Boss 13 fame Shefali Jariwala, an interview from December 2024 has resurfaced, shedding light on the late actress' plans and hopes for the year 2025.

Shefali, who passed away on June 27 at the age of 42, had opened up about her personal and professional aspirations in an interview with Midday, just months before her death.

When Shefali spoke about her goals for 2025

"All my goals for the coming year are to build a better me," Shefali had said. "Working to enhance my skills and advance my career is the agenda but also to give back more to this wonderful community and support others in their growth and development, paying forward the help and encouragement I've received," she added.

The Kaanta Laga star had also expressed a sense of contentment and peace in her personal life. "I am in a very happy space in life. I am growing spiritually as well. I am looking forward to connecting more deeply with my faith and having another year filled with love and laughter," she concluded.

Shefali Jariwala's death

Shefali's death has come as a massive shock to the industry and her fans. While early reports suggested cardiac arrest, Mumbai Police stated that her body was found at her Andheri residence and has been sent to Cooper Hospital for postmortem. The official cause of death is yet to be determined.

Shefali's journey in entertainment industry

Shefali shot to fame with her item song, Kaanta Laga, and within no time, she became a household name in India. She also participated in reality shows like Nach Baliye and Bigg Boss 13, and was last seen in the 2024 show, Shaitani Rasmein.

Besides, Shefali featured in Akshay Kumar and Salman Khan's 2004 film, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, and the Kannada film, Hudugaru.
