Sainsbury's is urgently recalling five items due to various safety and technical issues. These recall notices include perishable items and kitchen appliances sold at stores across the UK. Customers are advised to verify if the goods they have purchased are affected by the recalls.

If they are, they are likely able to return them to a nearby Sainsbury'sstore. Items affected are being recalled for being a fire hazard as well as one potentially including glass fragments.

Sainsbury’shas been notified that Heineken is recalling certain Newcastle Brown Ale products due to the potential presence of glass fragments. Shoppers are urged not to drink products labelled with the following batch numbers:

• L4321
• L4322
• L4323
• L4324
• L4325
• L4326

Affected products are also labelled with best-before dates of November 30, 2025. If you purchased an impacted batch, you can return these products to a local store for a full refund, provided they have not been opened.

Nutribullethas also alerted the supermarket that specific units of its rechargeable blender 'Nutribullet Go' model NGB-100 are unfit for purpose, MyLondon reports. This is primarily due to a battery defect that could overheat while charging, creating a potential fire hazard.

A notice on Sainsbury's website reads: "A small number of units have been identified as having a battery defect that could overheat during charging, creating a potential fire risk.

"Please stop using the item immediately, and check if you have an affected product by locating the serial number on the base of the blender." Serial numbers of the affected products are detailed in full on Sainsbury's website.

However, customers are advised to visit Nutribullet's website for further verification. Here, they can register to receive a replacement product free of charge.

A statement on Sainbury's website adds: "We take the quality and safety of our products extremely seriously and would like to apologise to customers affected for any inconvenience this may cause. No other serial numbers are affected by this recall."

Two specific batches of Appletiser beverages have been recalled amid concerns they may contain elevated levels of chlorate. Customers are urged not to consume packs of six 250ml drinks labelled with the following codes:

• 328 GE

• 338 GE

These batches also have use-by dates of:

• November 30, 2025
• December 31, 2025

Such products can be returned to Sainsbury's for a full refund. A message on the supermarket's website adds: "For any further information please contact 0800 227711.

"No other products have been affected by this issue. Appletiser would like to apologise for any inconvenience caused."

Three Tower-branded air fryers produced between January 2022 and April 2023 are being recalled. They are believed to have a potential manufacturing defect that could cause them to overheat, posing a fire risk.

The limited set of impacted products includes those with SKU numbers of:

• 141407023

• 139987372

Customers can also find their product numbers and additional details at the bottom of their air fryers. The descriptions of those affected are:

• TOWER 2. 2 LTR COMPACT AIRFRYER BLK (T17023)
• TOWER 4L AIRFRYER BLK (T17061BLK)

Finally, Sainsbury's has warned that three Boschtoasters are being recalled amidst safety risks. This specifically regards certain Styline models produced from October 2021 to April 2023.

Quality inspections identified a technical fault that could lead to overheating of the electronics and pose a fire risk. Affected products include:

• Bosch Styline Toaster Black - SKU: 120143161 - Product code: TAT8613GB

• Bosch Styline Toaster White - SKU: 120141406 - Product code: TAT8611GB

• Bosch Styline Toaster Black - SKU: 136092531 - Product code: TAT8613GB

A statement on the supermarket's website reads: "To minimise safety risks, please disconnect any affected toaster from the mains supply immediately and do not use it. You can check if your appliance is affected by checking the nameplate on the bottom of the toaster.
