Mumbai Police have confirmed that an autopsy has been conducted on actor Shefali Jariwala, who passed away on Friday night at the age of 42. However, the medical team has reserved their opinion on the exact cause of death.
A police official told PTI that while preliminary findings suggest a natural cause, no conclusive reason has been established yet. “The autopsy has been done, but the opinion on the cause of death has been reserved. Based on preliminary information, it appears to be a natural death, and there was no foul play,” the official said.
Following the news of her sudden passing, the police registered an Accidental Death Report (ADR) as part of the standard procedure when the cause of death is unclear.
