A Landmark Event for Indian Cinema

Universal Pictures is set to host the inaugural Hindi premiere of Jurassic World: Rebirth at the iconic Raj Mandir Cinema in Jaipur on July 3rd.

Back in 1994, Jurassic Park made history as the first Hollywood film to be dubbed in Hindi, paving the way for Indian-language audiences to engage with global cinema. Now, 31 years later, Jurassic World: Rebirth aims to continue this tradition, inviting Indian viewers back into the thrilling realm of dinosaurs.

The premiere will take place at the splendid Raj Mandir Cinema, promising an immersive cinematic experience for over 1000 attendees, including fans, media representatives, and prominent digital influencers.

Attendees will be transported to a dinosaur-themed environment featuring interactive installations and photo opportunities. The event will be hosted by popular digital personality Nagma Mirajkar, with notable influencer Ashish Chanchlani and other celebrities expected to join.

In honor of the original Hindi dub from 1994, the event will also celebrate the return of esteemed Dubbing Director Ashim Samanta, who is back after three decades to oversee the Hindi version of Jurassic World: Rebirth, ensuring a blend of nostalgia and continuity for a new generation of fans.

“This premiere is not merely an event; it signifies a historic dedication to our Indian audience and a celebration of cinematic progress,” stated Denzil Dias, VP and Managing Director, India, Warner Bros. Pictures. “By exclusively launching Jurassic World: Rebirth in Hindi at the renowned Raj Mandir Cinema in Jaipur – a cornerstone of Indian cinema – we honor the groundbreaking legacy of Jurassic Park’s 1994 Hindi dub while recognizing the fervent enthusiasm of our Hindi-speaking fans. This occasion truly heralds a new era for Hollywood in India, delivering the magic directly to its most passionate audience.”
