'Panchayat' actress Sanvikaa reveals Neena Gupta is 'protective' of her; opens up on her chemistry with Jitendra Kumar: 'We understand each other'

She shared how they don’t spend hours preparing or rehearsing, which actually keeps things fresh and real, “We don’t rehearse too much either, just align before the take. Jeetu is a very supportive co-actor. He gave me the space to feel comfortable, never made me feel like a newcomer. That calmness between us translates on screen.”

Sanvikaa also opened up about working with the brilliant Neena Gupta, who plays her mother in ‘Panchayat’. Talking about Neena Gupta’s real-life personality, Sanvikaa revealed, “Yeah, she’s like that – just like her social media presence! She enjoys acting, dressing up on sets. She’s a very joyful person, but at the same time, she’s quite strict. So, everyone is careful when she’s around. But she always speaks up when there’s a problem, and people respect her for that.”
She also spoke about how their bond has grown stronger with every season of the show, “My chemistry with her has grown with each season. I’ve said this before – she’s a little protective of me. I’ve seen instances where someone’s being rough or pushing me around, and she’d take a stand for me. That’s her way of showing love.”
