First of all, you should know that the registration fee for Amarnath Yatra is Rs 220, whether you register online or offline. For offline registration for the Amarnath Yatra, the Amarnathji Shrine Board has fixed more than 533 bank branches across India. You can go to Punjab National Bank (PNB), Jammu & Kashmir Bank, YES Bank, ICICI Bank, and SBI Bank and get offline registration done.

You have to go to these branches fill out the travel form and then show your medical certificate and ID. After this, the fee has to be deposited. Along with this, token slips are distributed at places like Mahajan Hall, Panchayat Bhawan, and Vaishnavi Dham. After this, the next day you go to Saraswati Dham for a medical examination, and then you take the RFID card for the journey from a specific place.

How to get online registration done – Amarnath Yatra Offline Registration

If you want to register online for Amarnath Yatra, then go to https://jksasb.nic.in — (the official website of Shri Amarnath Shrine Board). For online registration, keep all the documents with you in advance, such as Aadhar Card, PAN Card, Voter ID, 4 passport-size photos, and Compulsory Health Certificate (CHC). Then go to Online Services and click on Yatra Permit Registration. Guidelines regarding the journey will come, read them carefully and then click on I Agree, and click on Register.

After this, a form will open, where upload many things like the route of the journey, date of travel, your name, mobile number, parents' name, date of birth, emergency number, email, passport-size photo, etc. After this, get the mobile verified by telling the OTP on the registered mobile number, and pay the registration fee of Rs 220. After the registration payment is done, download the Yatra Registration Permit from the portal and keep it with you.

How to get a Health Certificate (CHC)?

It is very important to have a health certificate for Amarnath Yatra, without this certificate you will not be able to travel. This certificate is valid only from hospitals authorized by the Shrine Board. Actually, for traveling at an altitude of 15,000 feet, the condition of the heart, lungs, and blood pressure should be fine. No traveler can travel without registration.
