The Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department will start reporting to designated colleges for First Year Junior Colleges (FYJC) or Class 11 admission today, June 30. The first merit list for Maharashtra FYJC admission was published on June 28 at mahafyjcadmissions.in. Applicants who have been allocated seats for the CAP round 1 must report to their colleges by July 7.

"Round-1 Allotment List and Minority, Management, and In-house Quota List are Published on 28-06-2025, Student to visit for admission to their allotted college from 30-06-2025 to 07-07-2025 6:00 PM," a statement posted on the official website states.

Aspirants must bring their documents for verification, pay the applicable fees, and verify their admissions during this time.

If a student declines admission to CAP 1, he or she must proceed to the following round. However, students who have been assigned their first preferences must take admission. Otherwise, they will be denied access during rounds 2–4.

How to download the Maharashtra FYJC admission 2025 first allotment list?

To check the first allotment list, applicants might take the following steps:

Step 1: Visit the official website of Maharashtra FYJC at mahafyjcadmissions.in.

Step 2: On the home page, click on the first allotment list download link.

Step 3: After this, enter the login credentials, and then submit.

Step 4: Now, check the allotment list that appeared on the screen.

Step 5: Download the first allotment list and take a printout of the same for future reference.

What will happen if the candidate revokes their admission?

Those who wish to revoke their approved admission can contact the relevant junior colleges. Such students will be barred from competing in the next normal round.

After the first round of admissions is completed, the department will show a list of vacant seats for the second round of CAP.

How many seats are available?

This year, 9,435 Maharashtra junior colleges and upper secondary schools will provide a total of 21,23,040 seats.

2,25,514 seats are set aside under various quotas, whereas 18,97,526 seats are available through theCentralised Admission Process (CAP).
