The Duchess of Edinburgh showcased her impeccable style as she stepped out in a stunning ensemble at the Hampton Court Palace Garden Festival. Basking in the summer sunshine, the 60-year-old royal looked effortlessly elegant in the eye-catching outfit.

Wearing a beautifully tailored floral-print midi dress by Me+Em-a fitting and poignant nod to the botanical setting. The dress featured a softly structured A-line silhouette that gently skims the figure, creating a flattering yet relaxed shape ideal for summer events.

With its high neckline and subtle keyhole detailing, the design added a modern twist to an otherwise classic cut.

Sophie's choice to wear florals to one of Britain's most iconic garden showcases was a thoughtful and symbolic gesture, effortlessly blending her style with the spirit of the occasion.

In keeping with her sustainable fashion values, it came as no surprise that the frock was a re-wear. The Duchess was last seen in the Me+Em design just last month when she visited Barleylands Farm Park.

Over the years, Sophie has consistently championed the British label, frequently stepping out in their polished, contemporary pieces. And she's in good company-Princess Kate and Queen Camilla are also known fans of the brand's timeless collections.

The label is known for offering high-quality, well-designed pieces that prioritise functionality and wear-forever appeal, rather than simply following fleeting trends.

And Sophie wasn't the only royal championing Me+Em that day-Sarah Ferguson also flew the flag for British fashion at Wimbledon Tennis, stepping out in a similarly elegant green frock from the brand.

The coordinated royal choices highlight Me+Em's growing status as a go-to label for timeless, elevated dressing within the royal wardrobe.

Meanwhile, Sophie completed her look with a textured straw handbag and minimal jewellery, allowing the dress's romantic detailing and garden-inspired palette to take centre stage.

The week-long festival is a celebration of the finest in garden design and floral artistry, all set against the magnificent backdrop of Hampton Court Palace.

Visitors can wander through breathtaking displays and enjoy expert talks from some of the biggest names in horticulture, including BBC Gardeners' World star Adam Frost.

Attracting around 120,000 visitors each year, the event is a standout on the British summer social calendar.

Sophie beamed with delight as she was photographed taking in the vibrant atmosphere of the much-loved annual extravaganza. True to form, the Duchess wasn't shy-she enthusiastically mingled with hosts and spectators, fully immersing herself in the day's activities.

At one point, she was even spotted engaging with artisan Rebecca Ford, who gave her a hands-on demonstration of willow weaving during the visit.
