The study, based on booking and pricing data from OTA loveholidays for the first quarter of the year, found that Morocco stands out as the best deal for families, with last-minute seven-night breaks averaging just £81 per person per night.

Tunisia, on the other hand, offers the best value for couples, with seven-night holidays averaging £123 per person per night. Beyond their affordability, Tunisia and Morocco offer incredible cultural and natural experiences that go far beyond the hotel walls and holiday resorts.

Tunisia is home to nine UNESCO World Heritage sites, including the ancient ruins of Carthage, the Roman amphitheatre at El Jem, the blue and white town of Sidi Bou Said, and the vast Sahara Desert.
