VinFast Auto India has partnered with myTVSa multi-brand automotive service providerto strengthen its after-sales service network across India. The move is part of the company’s preparations for the upcoming launch of its VF 7 and VF 6 electric SUVs, marking its formal entry into the Indian EV market.The collaboration will see the rollout of 120 Extended Service Workshops across the country, which will operate alongside VinFast’s exclusive dealerships and service centres. With this partnership, the Vietnamese EV manufacturer aims to provide customers with access to repair, maintenance and support services.Each myTVS workshop under this partnership will be equipped with genuine VinFast parts, advanced diagnostic tools, and technical staff trained specifically for VinFast’s electric vehicles. To ensure customer convenience, a dedicated toll-free helpline and email support will be available for service- queries.The brand’s India strategy involves more than just retail. Backed by an investment of $2 billion, VinFast is also building a manufacturing facility in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu. The plant, in its first phase, will have an annual production capacity of 50,000 vehicles, which will eventually be ramped up to 1.5 lakh units.

 

VinFast is aiming to build a complete EV ecosystem in India, including charging infrastructure, after-sales support, and a network that reaches beyond metropolitan areas and into smaller cities. Of the two models expected to debut, the VinFast VF7 will arrive first. This five-seater electric SUV features a modern crossover silhouette and the brand’s distinctive V-shaped LED lighting. It will likely be available in two variants: Eco and Plus. The Eco version gets a 204 hp single motor driving the front wheels, while the more powerful Plus variant is equipped with dual motors and all-wheel drive, delivering 354 hp. Both versions house a 75.3kWh battery, offering a claimed range of up to 450 km (Eco) and 431 km (Plus).
