Ramayana Film Project Nears Completion

The Ramayana film series is set to be one of Bollywood's most ambitious endeavors, with its first installment scheduled for release in the next two years. Featuring Ranbir Kapoor in the role of Lord Ram, anticipation is high among fans eager to see this epic tale brought to life. Recently, Ranbir completed filming for Ramayana Part 1 and was spotted sharing heartfelt moments with his co-stars on set.

During the wrap-up, Ranbir embraced Ravie Dubey, who is cast as Laxman. The entire cast and crew gathered to celebrate this significant milestone.


Director's Remarks

Director Nitesh Tiwari also addressed the team as filming concluded, expressing gratitude and excitement for the project.


Star-Studded Cast

In addition to Ranbir, the film features Sai Pallavi, Yash, and Sunny Deol. Yash will portray Ravana, while Sai Pallavi takes on the role of Goddess Sita, and Sunny Deol will play Lord Hanuman.


Producer's Vision

Producer Namit Malhotra shared his vision for the film, stating, 'Over a decade ago, I began this noble journey to adapt an epic that has captivated hearts for over 5000 years. Today, I am thrilled to see it come to life as our teams work diligently to create a visually stunning and authentic representation of our culture and history. We aim to present our 'RAMAYANA' to audiences worldwide with pride and reverence, with Part 1 set for release during Diwali 2026 and Part 2 in Diwali 2027.'


Release Dates

Ramayana Part 1 is slated for a 2026 release, followed by the second part in 2027.
