NEET UG 2025: The ongoing controversy over the NEET UG 2025 exam is not taking the name of stopping. The Indore Bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court has given a historic verdict regarding NEET UG 2025. An order has been given to conduct the NEET UG exam again for 75 candidates. In this medical entrance exam held on 4 May 2025, the candidates had to face a lot of trouble due to power outages at 24 centers in Indore and Ujjain. Many candidates had to give the paper in candle or emergency light, which affected their performance.
These candidates had filed a petition in the MP High Court demanding a fair opportunity. The court directed the National Testing Agency (NTA) to conduct NEET re-examination for these 75 petitioner candidates and put a stay on their results. Also, the counseling process of NEET UG 2025 has been stopped till the matter is clarified. This decision is important for 2.5 lakh candidates from Madhya Pradesh and more than 22 lakh NEET candidates across the country. This may affect the counseling and admission process.
