Indian Railways has launched a new super app called RailOne, aiming to simplify the travel experience for millions of passengers across the country. The app consolidates multiple railway services into a single platform, eliminating the need for multiple downloads and logins, as sources told the TOI.
One app for all needs
RailOne brings together a wide range of passenger services, from booking reserved and unreserved train tickets to checking PNR status, train schedules, coach positions, food orders, and feedback submission via Rail Madad. It will enable users to access services like IRCTC Rail Connect, UTS, NTES, and Food on Track, all in one place.
User-friendly interface
With a streamlined and intuitive interface, RailOne is designed to make navigation easy, even for first-time users. It's available for download on both Android and iOS platforms.

Single sign-on
No more juggling multiple passwords. The app features single sign-on capability. Existing users of IRCTC Rail Connect or UTS on Mobile can log in using the same credentials. New users can register quickly with minimal information.

Lighter on storage, heavier on functionality
By combining multiple services, RailOne reduces clutter and saves device storage. It also includes R-Wallet for digital payments, accessible via mPIN or biometric login, adding another layer of convenience.
Guest access for enquiries
For users who just want to check train or PNR status, guest access is available through mobile number and OTP — no login required.
Tatkal booking verification (From July 1, 2025)
From July 1, only verified users will be allowed to book Tatkal tickets. Verification will be done using Aadhaar or DigiLocker documents, with OTP authentication mandatory by end of July.
Earlier chart preparation
Chart preparation timing will be extended from four to eight hours before train departure. For trains leaving before 2 PM, charts will now be finalized at 9 PM the previous night. This means earlier updates for passengers on waitlists.

Railways is set to upgrade its backend systems to handle 150,000 ticket bookings and 4 million enquiries per minute. The new system will include a multilingual interface and special booking features for students, Divyangjan, and patients.
With RailOne, Indian Railways is not just improving convenience — it’s laying tracks for a smarter, faster, and more passenger-friendly future.
