Shefali Jariwala Final Hours Before Death:  Shefali Jariwala, famous as Kaanta Laga Girl, died suddenly on Friday, June 27. She was just 42 years old. The final postmortem report of the actress is still awaited, but according to initial police findings and medical examination, Shefali died due to cardiac arrest due to self-medication. Let us know here how the last moments of the actress were before her death.

What happened on June 7, 2024 (Friday) ?

• Shefali Jariwala observed a day-long fast as part of the Satyanarayan puja organised at her home in Mumbai.
• Despite fasting, Shefali had taken her regular anti-ageing medication and also a vial of glutathione injections. According to the police, she was also taking multivitamins and collagen supplements to keep her skin young.
• Shefali fainted at her home at around 10.30 pm.
• At 11.15 pm, the actress was taken to Bellevue Hospital in Andheri West by her husband Parag and three others where doctors declared her dead and advised the family to take the body to Cooper Hospital for post-mortem.
• At around 11.30 pm, the Amboli police station was informed about the incident.
• By 11.45 pm, a police team reached Shefali's house and Cooper Hospital and started preliminary investigation.

What happened on June 28, 2024 (Saturday)

• Shefali Jariwala's post-mortem was conducted by a government medical team at Cooper Hospital.
• As per protocol, the entire postmortem process was video recorded. The postmortem report is being prepared by a team of five doctors.
• The viscera was preserved and sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) in Kalina, Mumbai to help ascertain the exact cause of death.
• The post-mortem report is expected to come in two to three days, while the viscera examination results may take 50 to 90 days to arrive.
• A case of accidental death of Shefali Jariwala has been registered at Amboli police station.
• Statements of Shefali's husband Parag Tyagi, family members, domestic staff and close friends have been recorded. No foul play has been suspected so far.

Shefali Jariwala's funeral

• Shefali Jariwala's last rites were performed on Saturday, June 28, at Oshiwara crematorium in Mumbai.
• Shefali's father, brother and husband performed the last rites according to Hindu traditions. Shefali's husband Parag Tyagi cried while performing the last rites.
• Family members, close friends and several television personalities visited the crematorium to pay their last respects. TV actors Arti Singh, Mahira Sharma and Rashami Desai were seen at her house, where her body was kept before the last rites.
