Sitaare Zameen Par writer, Divy Nidhi Sharma, is also a part of the Anupamaa and Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’s writing team. He has been working on the shows for the past few years, and when The Free Press Journal interacted with Divy, we spoke to him about the flak that Anupamaa is facing on social media from fans because of the current track.
When asked him about fans being upset with the ongoing track of Anupamaa, Divy said, “Television shows have a long life. There are periods in which the story is rebooted. The film ends in 2 hours, but television has 2000 episodes. They have phases in which we try to do something new. Many times the public accepts it, and many times they don’t. Especially for Anupamaa, I can only say, we have our hearts in the right place.”

Sharma further said, “We always try to say good, empowering, and entertaining stories. If our work is not looking good today, please forgive us and have a little more patience. We are pretty sure that in a few days we will bring the story back on track and everyone will like it.”
