Shivam Mishra, Raipur. The CBI has raided more than 40 locations of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Delhi. In Chhattisgarh, CBI has arrested 6 people including 3 doctors. This action has been taken in the matter of making a hefty recovery in lieu of recognition in medical colleges. According to the information, the accused have taken a bribe using several strategies to influence the inspection process. All the accused will be produced in the special CBI special court tomorrow.

6 people including Dr. Ashok D. Shelke, Dr. Manjappa and Chitra Madanhalli have been arrested for taking bribe in exchange for submission of favorable inspection report in favor of the medical college. The CBI has registered a case against the officials of Shri Rawatpura Sarkar Institute of Medical Sciences and Research Nawa Raipur (Chhattisgarh), doctors inspecting and other middlemen. They are alleged to have done irregularities by taking bribe in the statutory inspection process to be done for the recognition of medical college.
The accused will be presented in CBI special court tomorrow
The CBI had received information that the institute officials are affecting the assessors appointed for inspection, so that they can submit the report in their favor. Acting on this information, the CBI laid a trap and arrested 6 people red-handed at the time of bribe transactions. All the arrested accused will be produced in the special CBI special court on 2 June.
