Arsenal are hard at work trying to get a number of signings over the line during the summer.

All Premier League clubs had to abide by two different transfer windows this summer for the first time due to the Club World Cup, and we're now well into the second, and longest window.

Mikel Arteta’s side have agreed a bargain £5m deal for Chelsea goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga after deciding to activate a release clause written into his deal at Stamford Bridge, and he will become back-up to compatriot David Raya at the Emirates Stadium.

Arsenal have also been chasing Real Sociedad midfielder Martin Zubimendi for some time and look likely to sign him in the coming weeks.

And Arsenal’s business almost certainly won't end there either. Arteta’s side are also interested in adding a much-needed forward to their squad ahead of next season, with a number of options having been identified.

Sporting Lisbon striker Viktor Gyokeres and Benjamin Sesko of RB Leipzig are those who could be signed, with negotiations reportedly ongoing for both. Meanwhile, there’s also new contracts on the agenda, with Gabriel and Myles Lewis-Skelly having become the latest players to commit their futures to the club.

Of course, work remains ongoing for all of those deals but Arsenal have already confirmed a few transfers this summer, namely exits. Jorginho is the most high profile of those, having left at the end of his deal, along with Kieran Tierney. Nuno Tavares also helped boost the coffers, with the forgotten man joining Lazio permanetly after his loan.
