Further updates have emerged about Gabriel Martinelli's future as he continues to be linked with a move away from Arsenal.

Martinelli's future has been the subject of speculation in recent weeks as Mikel Arteta looks to prepare the Arsenal squad for the start of the 2025/26 season.

The Gunnerswill be looking to improve on their second-place finish in the Premier League and semi-final run in the Champions League when they return to the pitch next term.

Part of those preparations will involve new signings in the transfer market, but as the potential for reinforcements emerges there is also the possibility that some players may leave Emirates Stadium.

Martinelli has been linked with a move away from the Gunners this summer after scoring ten goals last season.

CBS Sports have reported that Bayern Munich and Al Nassr in the Saudi Pro League have expressed an interest in signing Martinelli this summer. The report does provide two more updates that hand Arsenal a welcome boost in their hopes of keeping the Brazilian in north London.

It has been reported that Martinelli himself is not planning to move to Saudi Arabia at this stage of his career, which may seemingly rule out a transfer to Al Nassr.

The report also claims that Arsenal have no plans to sanction the 24-year-old's exit despite reported interest from across the globe.

It remains to be seen what the future will hold for Martinelli in north London, with Arsenal planning to bring in new signings to their forward line.

A new striker is a priority for the Gunners, with the notable links including RB Leipzig's Benjamin Sesko and Sporting Lisbon's Viktor Gyokeres.

Arsenal have also been rumoured to be interested in signing a new left winger, the position which Martinelli occupies in the team.

Athletic Bilbao star Nico Williams was heavily linked with signing for the Gunners, although there are reports that Barcelona are the Spain international's most likely destination.

Rodrygo has also been tipped to sign for the Gunners.
