VI launched a new guarantee program for 2G customers, gets additional validity

New Delhi. VI (Vodafone Idea) has launched a new ‘VI Guarantee Program’ for its 2G handset users on Tuesday. Under this initiative, prepaid customers will get the benefit of additional validity on special recharge packs. This offer will be applicable to VI prepaid plan of Rs 199 and Rs 209. Both these plans provide unlimited calling, 2GB of data and 300 SMS. Significantly, VI has already started the VI guarantee program for 4G and 5G users last year.

Vi guarantee offer information:

VI’s new VI Guarantee Program will provide two additional validity days on any unlimited voice recharge of Rs 199 or more. According to this, customers will receive a total of 24 bonus days in 12 months. VI says that this new initiative will ensure the service of 30 days in every plan instead of regular 28 days in every plan, which will reduce the hassle of repeated recharge.

This new VI guarantee offer is especially for prepaid customers who use 2G handsets and are on unlimited voice recharge packs of Rs 199 and Rs 209. The plan of Rs 199 provides unlimited calling, 2GB data and 300 SMS, which has a validity of 28 days. At the same time, unlimited calling, 2GB data, caller tune facility are also available in the plan of Rs 209.

In some specific areas such as Assam, North-East, Odisha, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu and Kashmir and Rajasthan, 3GB data and 300 SMS are being offered in addition to unlimited calls on packs of Rs 199 and Rs 209. The pack of Rs 209 also includes additional benefits of caller tunes.

VI customers can dial *999# or call 1212 to activate their VI guarantee benefits. Additional data benefits can be claimed through the VI app.

It is also noteworthy that the company also launched a guarantee program for 4G and 5G customers last year, which provides a total of 130GB additional data free in a year. For 2G users, this program has started after VI’s 5G network expansion done by VI in 23 cities of India. VI’s 5G network is already live in major cities like Bengaluru, Delhi, Mumbai, Patna and Chandigarh.
