The new season is scheduled to launch on July 11.

Titled The Abyss Awakens, the forthcoming chapter pits players against the Symbiote god Knull, who stirs deep within the core of Klyntar. To execute his nefarious plan, he unleashes a new dark queen, compelling Phoenix and Blade to rise and confront the encroaching darkness.
The cinematic teaser confirms that both characters will be included in the playable roster this season. At approximately the 1:12-minute mark, fans catch their first look at what seem to be the in-game models for Blade and Phoenix.
