A New Era in Indian Cinema

The upcoming film Ramayana, spearheaded by Namit Malhotra, is set to become the largest cinematic endeavor in history, offering a grand reinterpretation of India's cherished epic. As excitement continues to grow, this film is expected to elevate storytelling and set new standards for Indian cinema on an international level. An exhilarating update has just been announced—the initial official preview of Ramayana will be revealed on July 3.


This promotional teaser, named Ramayana: The Introduction, will be launched in nine major cities across India, including Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai, Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Kolkata, Pune, and Kochi. This marks the commencement of a new cinematic journey, providing audiences with their first glimpse into this monumental world. Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with the award-winning VFX studio DNEG, alongside Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana Part 1 is scheduled for release during Diwali 2026, with Part 2 following in Diwali 2027.
