New Delhi: Tech brand Nothing has finally introduced its first over-ear audio product, Headphone (1). Created in partnership with British audio icon KEF, the new headphones merge bold transparent design, high-fidelity audio, and tactile controls that are easy to use. The product will come at the price of Rs 21,999 in India and will be offered with a limited-period launch offer of Rs 19,999.

Headphone (1) is the first product of Nothing that is expected to attract both audiophiles and casual listeners. Its good looks and high-quality materials mean that the product is meant to not only sound great but also look great. It will be sold by the big stores such as Flipkart, Myntra, Croma, and Vijay Sales.

Headphone (1) materials and physical controls

The headphones have a light design that is made of aluminium, hard plastics, and PU memory foam to ensure comfort even after prolonged use. Nothing has opted to use physical controls instead of touch, so there is a roller, paddle, and button that is used to control the volume, media, and ANC. The relocation guarantees accuracy and frustration-free use in opposition to touch-based gestures.

Headphone (1) designed and sound

Along with KEF, the 40 mm dynamic drivers produce deep bass, clean mids, and bright treble. The Headphone (1) has support for Hi-Res Audio, LDAC, USB-C lossless playback and a 3.5 mm jack, making it compatible with a large variety of sources. Spatial Audio and integrated head tracking represent a 360-degree sound experience which is immersive and dynamic to your movements.

Transparency Mode and ANC (Active Noise Cancellation) offer the user the possibility to have some control over the amount of the external world they hear. Environmental noise cancellation is achieved through four AI-powered microphones that make the voices in the calls clear despite the environment being busy. The battery lasts up to 35 hours, and five minutes of charging provides more than two hours of playback.

The Nothing X App personalisation

The signature button of the headphone (1) is customisable with the help of the Nothing X app. There is a new capability named Channel Hop that enables one to switch between new audio apps quickly. Voice commands and/or saving of ideas on the fly can also be done through the Essential Space feature. A high-end 8-band EQ allows the listeners to customise their audio to individual tastes.

Headphone (1) launch and availability

Headphone (1) will be available on sale in black and white versions beginning July 15, 2025. It will be available to the buyers through Flipkart, Flipkart Minutes, Myntra, Croma and Vijay Sales in addition to other large offline stores. The firm is also providing a 12-month no-cost EMI scheme across leading banks.
