An employee at Infosys was arrested for allegedly filming women in a restroom at the Bengaluru campus. The accused, Swapnil Nagesh Mali, 28, from Andhra Pradesh, was caught after a female colleague noticed a reflection while using the restroom.

This incident occurred on June 30 and led to his immediate arrest.
The woman who discovered the recording device initially saw only reflection. However, further inspection, she found Mali attempting to record with his phone. Her scream prompted an apology from him. The situation intensified when her husband confronted Infosys about the incident.
HR Investigation Uncovers More Evidence
Infosys HR conducted an investigation and reportedly found over 30 videos of various women on Mali's phone. This discovery added to the gravity of the situation and led to further actions against him. The victim then filed a formal complaint with the Electronic City police station.
The complaint resulted in Mali's arrest on Tuesday. The incident has raised concerns about privacy and security within corporate environments, prompting discussions on how companies can better protect their employees.
Following the complaint, Infosys took swift action by cooperating with authorities to ensure justice is served. The company has reiterated its commitment to maintaining a safe workplace for all employees and is reviewing its security protocols.
