Nagesh Swapnil Mali, a senior associate at Infosys in Bengaluru, has been arrested for allegedly secretly filming a woman in the office toilet.

According to reports, the accused was caught red-handed by a female employee on Monday. In her police complaint, the woman alleged that she noticed suspicious activity in the adjacent toilet cubicle and discovered Mali filming her.

After she raised the alarm, other employees arrived at the scene and detained him. According to reports, employees found incriminating footage on his phone, which Human Resources personnel later deleted in the woman's presence.

Police suspect this may not be the first time Mali secretly recorded a female colleague. Officers are investigating whether more women were targeted.

The accused's mobile phone has been sent to a forensic laboratory to retrieve deleted content and determine if other employees were victimised.
