Singer Shim Jae Hyun, a member of the South Korean boy group F.ABLE, has passed away at the age of 23 after a battle with leukemia.

According to Spotv Newsthe singer died on Monday, and his family shared the news with the public on Wednesday. During his treatment, Shim did not disclose his illness to many people. Initially, his condition was under control, but his health suddenly worsened in June.
F.ABLE’s former member Lee Hojun expressed his regret over the time spent working with Shim. He shared that he was saddened to learn about Shim’s serious condition too late, writing on social media: “Thank you for the days we spent together, I hope you are healthy and free from troubles wherever you are.”
Shim debuted with F.ABLE in June 2020. The group consisted of five members, with Jae Hyun being the youngest. He was known for his bright smile and passionate energy.
F.ABLE has been having fewer activities after their concert and fan meeting in Japan in 2023. In 2024, three members of the group split off to form a new group called ENPHAZE. Over the past year, Shim had not made any public appearances.
